I am a researcher at NEC Laboratories America. My research interests are in the area of database systems and information management. In particular, my research focuses on query processing and optimizations, scalable data stream processing systems, and map-reduce technologies. I was a Ph.D student in the Computer Science Department at WPI. I worked in the database research group (DSRG) with Prof. Elke A. Rundensteiner. Before coming to WPI, I received my B.Eng. in 2005 in Electronic Engineering at University of Science and Technology Beijing, and M.Sc. in 2008 in Computer Science at Metropolitan State University.
