I’m a biologist specialising in the application of molecular technologies to understand and benefit from living systems. I have a particular interest in applying the latest genomics tools and molecular approaches to address pressing questions relating to health and biosecurity in mammals, insects and reptiles and disease causing bacteria and fungi, and to develop biotechnology to improve the commercial production of animals, plants and algae.
