Daniel Alexander Samson

Danny Samson (PhD, Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of New South Wales) is Professor of Management at the University of Melbourne. He had a short career as an engineer in the chemical industry and has previously been assistant professor at the University of Illinois. He has published over 100 journal articles and a dozen books on management topics ranging from decision analysis to operations management and innovation management. He has been associate editor of numerous journals and is currently co-editor in chief of Operations Management Research. He has been a board member and strategic consultant to CEOs in financial services and manufacturing companies and has been delivering executive education programs across Asia Pacific and beyond. He is founder and Director of the Master of Enterprise and Master of Supply Chain Management degrees at the University of Melbourne.
