Darren Ansell received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the Institute of Science and Technology, The University of Manchester, and the Ph.D. degree in antenna optimization using evolutionary algorithms from Cranfield University. He is an Engineering Lead for Space and Aerospace and a Professor in aerospace engineering. Previously, he worked in industry at BAE Systems in management roles, specializing in mission systems and autonomy.
