Davide Bolchini is Assistant Professor at Indiana University, School of Informatics at IUPUI, Indianapolis. Before joining Indiana University, Dr. Bolchini was Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the University College London (UK), after having held a PostDoc research and teaching position at the University of Lugano (Switzerland), TECLab (Faculty of Communication Sciences), lecturing appointments at the Politecnico di Milano (Italy) and visiting research positions at North Carolina State University and at the University of Toronto. He achieved important results in the area of requirements engineering methods for contentintensive interactive applications, design methodologies for web and hypermedia, usability and accessibility, with funding from the Swiss National Science Foundation, the European Union Programmes, as well as through professional consultancy and mandates. Dr. Bolchini research has found applicability in various domains, including eTourism, Cultural Heritage, eLearning, eGovernment. He is also Vice President of the Swiss chapter of the Usability Professionals Association (UPA).
