Bio
Denis Eremin received the B.S. degree in physics from Novosibirsk State University, Novosibirsk, Russia, in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from The University of Texas at Austin, Austin, TX, USA, in 2004.
He was with the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics, Novosibirsk, from 1995 to 1997. He was with the Institute for Fusion Studies, Austin, from 1997 to 2004. From 2005 to 2009, he was the Stellarator Theory Group, Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, Greifswald, Germany. He is currently a Research Scientist with Ruhr University Bochum, Bochum, Germany. His current research interests include theoretical and computational low-temperature plasma physics and the development of massively parallel algorithms on graphics processing units.
