Bio

Derek K. Tseng received the B.S. degree from the University of California, San Diego, in 2004, and the M.S. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2010, all in electrical engineering. His research in optical gas sensing and lensfree microscopy has been published in more than 17 scientific journal and conference papers. Between 2005 and 2008, he was a Research Engineer at InnoSense LLC. Since 2008, he has been working as a Junior Developing Engineer for building lens-free microscope prototypes.
