Courses
Thermodynamics of comfort in buildings
This course provides an integrated approach to analyze thermal performance of buildings by examining thermodynamics of heat flows in buildings and correlation between human thermoregulation, thermal sensation of occupants, dynamic indoor and outdoor environment, performance of the building envelope
Building energetics
The course presents the fundamentals of energy management in buildings while emphasizing the need for human comfort. The learning is supported by building energy modeling of a case study building which offers an opportunity to understand trade-offs between energy and comfort.
