Edwin H F van Asseldonk

Edwin H. F. van Asseldonk (M’15) was born in Erp, The Netherlands, on March 28, 1978. He received the M.Sc. degree (honors) in human movement sciences from Free University, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and the Ph D. degree in biomechanical engineering from University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands, in 2001 and 2008, respectively. He is an Assistant Professor with University of Twente. His research interests include balance control, motor control in stroke patients, and rehabilitation robotics. He received the prestigious Dutch VENI grant in 2009.
