个人简介
Elias Brassitos (SM’13) received the B.S. degree from the University of Massachusetts, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Northeastern University, all in mechanical engineering.
He has been a Visiting Technologist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where he worked on the development of actuation hardware for extreme space robotics, specifically for planetary rovers and space manipulators.
Dr. Brassitos is a NASA Fellow. In 2016, he was the recipient of the James W. Healy Fellowship Award for Excellence in Research and Innovation at Northeastern University. He has several patent applications and technical papers in the areas of design, optimization, and dynamic model development of advanced actuators and transmission mechanisms.
