I work as head of applied science at Corti in Copenhagen.
At Corti, we build intelligent machines for augmented medicine. Notably we help medical personnel make crucial decisions in cases of medical emergency. Corti's AI works in real time, and it actually saves lives.
Prior to Corti, I spent several years in academia, where I worked at six universities and held many (or almost all?) academic positions, from PhD student to associate professor with tenure.
I researched into applied machine learning, specifically natural language processing (NLP), a field of artificial intelligence where we create machines capable of understanding human languages. I focused mostly on syntactic and semantic parsing of natural language, with particular interest in cross-lingual learning, and in processing low-resource languages.
