Evan R. Glaser

Evan Glaser received the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Buffalo, Buffalo, NY, USA, in 1986. He joined the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Washington, DC, USA, as a National Research Council Postdoctoral Associate and was hired to a full-time staff position in 1987. He has extensive experience in employing optical and magnetic resonance spectroscopies (including photoluminescence, electron spin resonance, and optically detected magnetic resonance) to identify residual defects, understand doping behavior, and obtain information on the origin of shallow and deep recombination processes in a variety of semiconductor bulk and nanostructured materials, and device structures of high interest to the Navy. He is currently a Senior Research Physicist with the Physics of Electronic Materials Branch, NRL. He has authored or coauthored over 150 papers.
