Fernando E. Rosas received the B.A. degree in music composition and philosophy (Minor), the B.Sc. degree in mathematics, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in engineering sciences from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Santiago, Chile, in 2003, 2007, and 2012, respectively. He worked as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant with the Departement Elektrotechniek (ESAT), KU Leuven, as a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Graduate Institute of Communication Engineering, National Taiwan University, and as a Marie Curie Research Fellow with the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Data Science Institute and the Centre for Psychedelic Research, Department of Brain Sciences, Imperial College London, and also with the Centre for Complexity Science and the Department of Mathematics, Imperial College London. His research interests include information theory, computational neuroscience, and complexity science.
