His research work is focused on materials for biomedical applications. Such research interest covers four aspects:
a) polymer-based platforms for bio-analytical tools, biomedical implants, drug delivery and tissue engineering;
b) screening of targeting peptides for materials and biomolecules binding;
c) Bio-functional decoration of surface or particles for specific cell interactions and bio-assay;
d) molecular motion in nano-confined structures for drug delivery and lab-on-chip applications
