Kaiser Florian

Florian Kaiser received the BSc degree in biotechnology and the MSc degree in molecular biology and bioinformatics from the University of Applied Sciences Mittweida, Germany, in 2012 and 2014, respectively. Currently, he is part of a PhD fellowship program funded by the European Social Fund and associated with the Division of Bioinformatics at the TU Dresden as well as the University of Applied Sciences Mittweida, both in Germany. His research focuses on the screening and identification of structural motifs in macromolecular structure data in order to infer the function of proteins and their evolution. Furthermore, he focuses on the development of substructure alignment algorithms.
