Bio
Frances Lau received the B.A.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada, in 2005, and the M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA, in 2007 and 2013, respectively. Since 2016, she has been working with Facebook on research and development of systems that act as interfaces between humans and technology, using methods that range from haptics to brain-computer interfaces.
