Gregory A. Doumenis received his Diploma in electrical engineering in 1990 and his Ph.D. in broadband communication systems in 1994 from the Electrical Engineering Department of NTUA. He has worked on a number of research and commercial projects as project leader. He participated in several R&D projects (RACE, ACTS, and ESPRIT) with leading companies within Europe in the area of telecommunications networks and hardware and software systems development. His research interests include performance analysis of broadband communications systems, digital systems architectures, broadband networks and communication protocols, multimedia applications, and video coding and transmission.
