Bio
I lead research & engineering teams to train cutting-edge LLMs (Gemini, PaLM2), successfully deploying them for mission-critical applications across Google. Currently I am the research lead responsible for multimodal LLMs at YouTube deployed for state-of-the-art user & creator facing Generative AI applications and for business critical discriminative tasks.
Overall, I have 15 years of experience in leading and managing teams of software engineers and research scientists building state-of-the-art ML models for complex and ambiguous features in both enterprise and user facing consumer applications. I have ~15 papers & patents related to ML and have served on the program committee of ML conferences.
