Andrea Gasparri (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Laurea (cum laude) degree in computer science and the Ph.D. degree in computer science and automation from Roma Tre University, Rome, Italy, in 2004 and 2008, respectively.,He is currently a Professor with the Department of Civil, Computer Science and Aeronautical Technologies Engineering, Roma Tre University. His research interests include robotics, sensor networks, networked multiagent systems, and precision agriculture.,Dr. Gasparri has been a member of the Steering Committee for the IEEE RAS Technical Committee on Multirobot Systems since 2014, the IEEE CSS Technical Committee on Networks and Communications since 2015, and the IEEE Technical Committee on Agricultural Robotics since 2021. From 2017 to 2021, he was an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics. Since 2021, he has been an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Control of Network Systems. He was the recipient of the Italian Grant FIRB Futuro in Ricerca 2008 for the project Networked Collaborative Team of Autonomous Robots funded by the Italian Ministry of Research and Education. He was the Coordinator of the project “PANTHEON” which focused on robotics for precision farming supported by the European Community within the H2020 framework (under Grant 774571) and is currently the Coordinator of the project “CANOPIES” which focuses on the development of a collaborative paradigm for human workers and multirobot teams in precision agriculture systems within the H2020 framework
