个人简介
Dr. Miller’s organization makes groundbreaking discoveries in a wide range of fields, including: artificial intelligence and machine learning; AR, VR, and 360 photography; audio; computer vision, imaging and video; content intelligence; data intelligence; document intelligence; graphics (2D and 3D); human computer interaction; intelligent agents and assistants; natural language processing; and systems and languages. Researchers publish novel technical papers at major technical conferences and are awarded numerous patents annually.
In addition, Dr. Miller also serves as the executive co-sponsor of the Adobe TechSummit, an internal Adobe conference attracting more than 3,000 technical staff.
Dr. Miller’s own research interests focus on computer graphics, imaging, and the convergence of creativity and technology. His past research includes global illumination algorithms, physics-based simulation of fluids and creatures, light-field television, and interactive multi-media. His recent research includes work on low-latency immersive displays, experimental transparent displays, event-based image curation, and 3D printing. He has made a number of award-winning short animations. He is also well known for creating a series of experimental snake robots, one of which was the usher at his wedding. One of the robots is on display at the International Spy Museum in Washington, DC. His other interests include writing fairytales, science fiction, poetry, plays, and developing experimental software to create highly ornamental decorative objects.
