Giuseppe Mele

Giuseppe Mele, graduated in Chemistry from the University of Bari and PhD in Chemical Sciences, is currently Associate Professor and Scientific Responsible of the Laboratory of Chemistry at the Department of the Engineering for Innovation of the University of Salento. Main researches interests: - Catalysis and Photocatalysis - Green Chemistry (low environmental impact processes). - Synthesis and characterization of organic and/or metal-organic compounds as precursor of new hybrids and functional materials. Many research/teaching activities are carried out in the framework of international European (Poland, Spain, Ireland ..) and extra-European (Brazil, China, Egypt, Chile, India) cooperation.
