Bio
Guen Bae Ko (S’11) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2010.
Currently, he is working toward the Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences at Seoul National University College of Medicine, Seoul, South Korea. Since 2013, he has been a Research Scientist in the Institute of Radiation Medicine, Medical Research Center, Seoul National University College of Medicine. His research interests include the development of high performance PET and PET/MRI systems using the silicon photo-sensor, fundamental study of photon counting photo-sensors, and development of electronics for radiation detector.
Mr. Ko was a recipient of the Society of Nuclear Medicine Computer and Instrumentation Young Investigator Award (honorable mention) in 2013.
