Prof Guoqiang Mao joined the University of Technology Sydney in February 2014 as Professor of Wireless Networking at the School of Computing and Communications and the Director of UTS Centre for Real-time Information Networks. Before that he was an academic staff at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, the University of Sydney. The Center for Real-time Information Networks has sixteen academic staff and more than 40 research students. The Center is among the largest Australian university research centers in the field of wireless communications and networking. The Center publishes about 100 papers per year in international journals and conferences and is also a leading player in application-oriented research.
