Hildegard Tanner

Hildegard Tanner was born in Switzerland on January 23, 1968. She received the M.D. degree from the University of Bern, Bern, Switzerland, in 1994. She is currently an Associate Professor of cardiology and a Senior Consultant Clinical Electrophysiology with the Department of Cardiology, University Hospital, Inselspital, Bern. She is a Senior Lecturer with the Medical Faculty, University of Bern. Her research interests include noninvasive and invasive diagnosis of cardiac arrhythmias and interventional treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. Prof. Tanner is a member of the Swiss Working Group of Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology, the Swiss Society of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, the European Heart Rhythm Association, the Heart Rhythm Society, and she is the Vice President of the Interest Group Women in Cardiology Switzerland.
