Bio
Hai Dang Nguyen is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Organisational Behaviour (OB). She holds a doctorate from Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University. Before relocating to the UK, Hai Dang was a Lecturer in International Business Management at Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT), and a Lecturer in Business Management at Hoa Sen University. Her research interests centre around HRM, where she primarily focuses on the two organisational aspects that are (1) the quality of work and (2) how employees are motivated at work. As such, her research covers the investigation of formative processes deployed in organisations that value individual as well as team performances. She also investigates the role of line managers in boosting positive attitudes and behaviours such as resilience, innovation and creative ideas from employees. Her work was published in Journal of Business Management and presented in leading international conferences such as the Academy of Management and British Academy of Management.
