Qing He is a Professor at the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS), and he is a Professor of Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (GUCAS). He received the B.S. degree from Hebei Normal University, Shijiazhuang, P. R. C., in 1985, and the M.S. degree from Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou, P. R. C., in 1987, both in Mathematics. He received the Ph.D. degree in 2000 from Beijing Normal University in Fuzzy Mathematics and Artificial and Intelligence, Beijing, P. R. C. Since 1987 to 1997, he has been with Hebei University of Science and Technology. He is currently a doctoral supervisor at the Institute of Computing and Technology, CAS. His interests include data mining, machine learning, classification, fuzzy clustering. A series of achievements have been gained in fuzzy information processing, fuzzy clustering, knowledge representation, text information processing, and in data mining of massive datasets. More than 60 papers have been published in journals both at home and abroad, 23 of which are SCI Indexed, 59 of which are EI Indexed. Multi-strategy data mining platform MSMiner, Web Intelligent Information Processing software GHunt, Hypersurface Classifier, Agent grid intelligent platform AGrIP and the City Emergency Response System have been organized and developed. A number of software copyrights have been gained. And MSMiner has been identified by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission to have reached the international advanced level. Community integrated service system based on the Agent Grid Intelligence platform has been developed, which has been identified by the organization of China Academy Of Science to have reached international advanced level. The City Emergency Response System and Community integrated service system have been identified by China Ministry of Information Industrury, Electronic Information Products Management Department as such: The overall technique level of the project has reached the international advanced level. Agent Grid Intelligence platform has obtained the Award of Science and Technology of Beijing. Recently, Based on Cloud Computing on Hadoop platform, a parallel data mining system has been developed in commission with the Research Institute of China Mobile Communications, which has already been used to mine useful knowledge on telecom datasets. Lots of patents have been applied.
