Bio
My current research interest is in using machine learning, foundation AI models and Knowledge Graph techniques to analyse health data. I am particularly interested in combining data driven machine learning approaches (e.g., deep learning) with knowledge driven methods (e.g., symbolic inference). If you want to know more, please check our group website (https://knowlab.github.io/) for specific research we are doing. I work closely with NHS Trusts and health boards across the UK to use artificial intelligence technologies in research and health service improvement (current funded projects). I serve as an editorial board member of these journals: BMC Medical Informatics and Decision Making and BMC Digital Health.
