I got my PhD degree from Electrical and Electronic Engineering department at Imperial College London. My research is mainly focused on interaction of gas/hydrogen and electricity systems from operation and planning perspectives. In this context, the modelling is carried out for e.g., GB energy system in 2030 and 2050, where a significant part of heat and transport sector should be electrified. Furthermore, cost-effective transition to lower-carbon energy system achieved by employment of flexibility options (i.e., demand side response, electricity storage, flexible gas plants, multi-directional compressors, and interconnections) in the integrated operation and planning of different energy vectors (mainly gas/hydrogen, heat and electricity) is investigated.
