Iakovos Michailidis received the Graduate degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Polytechnic School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Polytechnic School, Democritus University of Thrace, Xanthi, Greece, in March 2016. Since March 2016, he has been a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Information Technology Institute, Centre for Research and Technology Hellas, Thessaloniki. His main research interests include cyber-physical system identification and optimal control schemes. More specifically, he has worked on locally linearized system of system identification, convex optimal control designs, model-assistive and model-free (adaptive) techniques for optimal control in cyber-physical systems.
