Career Trajectory
Bio
István Táczi (Member, IEEE) was born in 1993. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary, in 2016 and 2018, respectively, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the Doctoral School of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics.
He is a member of the MTA–BME FASTER Lendület Research Group as a Research Assistant, working on the topic of distribution system state estimation. He works as an Innovation Expert at E.ON Distribution System Operator, Hungary. He is currently responsible for projects in the topic of flexibility and novel voltage control methods. His research interests include renewable energy integration possibilities, energy storage applications and power system stability, and synthetic inertia analysis.
Mr. Taczi is the Chair of the Hungarian IEEE Power and Energy Society Chapter, a Board Member of the Hungarian Electrotechnical Association, and a CIGRÉ Technical Advisory Committee Member.
