Bio
John MacDougall received the Ph.D. degree in engineering physics from Queen's University, Kingston, ON, Canada, in 1964.
His research has generally involved radio techniques for ionospheric measurements. He did postdoctoral work at the Slough Radio Research Laboratories and then worked for two years at the Space Research Institute, McGill University. He taught in the Department of Physics, University of the West Indies, Kingston, Jamaica, for eight years before joining the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Western Ontario. He retired in July 2003 and continues his ionospheric radio research.
