J. Jamaludin

Dr. Jafferi Jamaludin received the B.Eng. (Hons.) degree from Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Putrajaya, Malaysia, and M.Eng.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is currently a Senior Lecturer at University of Malaya Power Energy Dedicated Advanced Centre (UMPEDAC), where he has once served as Acting Deputy Director who oversees academic matters involving postgraduate studies. His research interests include energy technology and management, power electronics, control systems and embedded systems. He has published articles in some top-ranked journals including IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IET Power Electronics, Journal of the Franklin Institute and Engineering Applications in Artificial Intelligence. He is also a reviewer of several international journals. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, USA and an affiliate member of the Energy Institute, UK.
