Bio
Prof. Ts. Dr. Jagadeesh Pasupuleti is the Head of Hybrid Renewable Energy System, Institute of Sustainable Energy and Research & Postgraduate Coordinator in Electrical Power Engineering, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (The Energy University), Malaysia. Prior to that he was Head of Centre for Power System Research. He is a Senior Member of IEEE (USA), Member of IET (UK), Chartered Engineer (UK), Professional Review Interviewer for CEng (UK), Member of EI (UK), Member of BEM (Malaysia) and Member of ISTE (India). He has 34 years of teaching, research and administrative experience. He has taught many subjects in Electrical & Electronics Engineering both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has also supervised 35 Postgraduate Masters and PhD students. He has presented and published more than 130 papers in International Conferences and International Journals. He was an International Program committee member, session chair and reviewer of International Conferences and Journals on Power and Energy Systems. He was also keynote speaker in Green profits conference, Power Week Asia conference, International Conference on Advances in Robotics, Energy and Network Systems, International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering, Science and Technologies, International Conference on Smart Energy Systems and Electric Vehicles. He has given talks on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy to many Industries. His biography was published in the special 25th Silver anniversary edition of Marquis who’s who in the world, 2008. He was involved in 60 Research and Consultancy projects funded around $ 5 million in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. Modeling and Optimization of Grid-level Hybrid Renewable Energy Generation Systems for Resort Islands in South China Sea: Tioman Island. Integration of Wind Power Generation and Demand Response Programs in Power Market by Considering Significant Uncertainties. Optimum operation control of PV/Diesel/Battery Hybrid System using artificial neural network and genetic algorithm. Study on combination of hybrid Renewable Energy resources for micro grid system in Malaysia. Study on Roof –Top grid connected Photovoltaic Systems. The 132 kV and 33 kV Power System Study consultancy services. Studies on energy efficiency of sewage treatment plants. Harnessing Renewable Energy Potential from Sewage Treatment Plant Biogas to Generate Electricity. Modelling of distributed renewable energy resources to support the future last mile electricity networks. Multileader Particle Swarm Optimization for optimal placement and sizing of multiple distributed generation for a micro-grid system in rural area.
