Bio

Jan Wessel received the Dipl.-Ing. degree from Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany, in 2009. From 2009, he was with the IHP GmbH, Frankfurt (Oder), Germany, where he was responsible for high-frequency biosensor development. Jan Wessel received his doctoral degree from the University of Paderborn in 2018. From 2020, he led a research group developing millimeter-wave and terahertz circuits. In 2021, he joined the Fraunhofer Institute for high frequency physics and radar techniques (FHR), where he and his research department work in the field of integrated circuits for radar technologies. His current research interests include circuits, RF systems and MMICs.
