Jawed Mustafa is an assistant professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Najran University, Najran, Saudi Arabia. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2014 and Master in Thermal Sciences from AMU, Aligarh. He has previously worked at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Aligarh Muslim University of India as an Assistant Professor (2011-2015) and he has previously also worked as Project Engineer in “Lameec Contracting and Construction Company”, Riyadh, KSA (200-2008). He is Laboratory coordinator for the all-mechanical laboratory in the department of mechanical engineering, Najran University. His research is in the field of computational fluid dynamics, applied fluid mechanics, Solar and sustainable energy experimental and numerical heat transfer. He has published many articles in top energy journals including Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Building Engineering, Journal of Power Sources, Journal of Applied Engineering etc. Till date, he has published 40 papers in prestigious scientific journals, 2 book chapters and 10 papers in conference proceedings. His research articles received 481 Citations with an h-index of 16 and an i10-index of 18. He has also served as a reviewer for many journals including Energy storage, Journal of Power Sources, Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, Building Engineering etc. His research interests include intelligent computational heat Transfer using nano particle, solar radiation modelling, energy and exergy analysis of renewable energy systems using PCM and effective utilization of renewable energy in desalination.
