Research Programme
1. Noninvasive nanobiomaterials fabrication and characterization of developing cardiac patch, photopolymerized hydrogels, injectable hydrogels for myocardial infarction.
2. Drug and growth factors loaded core/shell nanoparticles for the controlled release of drug in Regenerative medicine
3. Minimally invasive method for the controlled release of anticancer drugs for cancer therapy
4. Isolation and expansion of cord blood stem cells and bone marrow stem cells for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine
5. Differentiation of Wharton’s Jelly stem cells and biocomposite (PCL/Collagen/ Hydroxyapatite) nanofibrous scaffolds for bone and cartilage tissue regeneration.
6. Screening of marker proteins by laser scanning confocal microscopy and study of cell morphology by SEM and TEM.
