Jeanne K. Pitz (M'86) is a Distinguished Member Technical Staff at Texas Instruments. She received the B.S. degree in physics from the University of Dayton in 1972, the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1977, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University in 1989.
Currently, she works in the Mixed Signal Broadband Communications Department of Texas Instruments (TI) and is the section manager for the Integrated Communications Solutions section. She designs circuits and manages projects in the areas of ADSL, Voice and Broadband communication integrated circuits. Prior to this, she worked as a circuit designer and team leader on hard disk drive read channel circuits where she designed high-speed digital signal processing integrated circuits. She has been at Texas Instruments since 1982. During her career at TI, she held positions in Design Automation and Defense Electronics Design. She also teaches part time at the University of Texas at Dallas in the E.E. and C.S. Departments. She has published several papers on IC design and holds one U.S. patent with three in the patent application process.
Dr. Pitz is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Eta Kappa Nu Honor Societies.
