Bio

Jesús B. Alonso-Hernández received the telecommunication engineering and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), Spain, in 2001 and 2006, respectively. He has been an Associate Professor with the Department of Signal and Communications, ULPGC, since 2002. His research interests include signal processing in biocomputing, biometrics, nonlinear signal processing, recognition systems, audio characterization, and data mining. He has been a Guest Editor of special issues for Journal as Cognitive Computation, Neural Computing and Applications, or Neurocomputing.
