His work focused on medicinal chemistry efforts of early drug discovery for CNS diseases and study of drug-protein interactions.
Medicinal Chemistry research in preclinical drug discovery, including high throughput screening, hit-to-lead optimization (SAR study/structure-based design), and ligand-protein interaction studies. Data-driven SAR study to optimize activity, ADME properties, selectivity, and toxicity. Build budgets for internal and external chemistry, ADME, and PK study. Oversee internal chemistry activities, and FTEs on chemistry, several separated groups on biophysics, ADME, PK, and formulation study in a CRO setting.
