现有主要研究方向是分子光化学与光物理(系间窜越、电子转移、能量转移、电子自旋极化等),主要从事有机化合物三重激发态的产生、调控和应用研究,主要为三重态光敏剂的分子设计与合成、性质研究以及应用基础研究,例如三重态湮灭上转换、光催化有机合成反应、发光法氧传感、光动力治疗Photodyanmic Therapy (PDT)等。研究工作涉及有机合成化学、纳秒瞬态吸收光谱(激光闪光光解)、飞秒瞬态吸收光谱(泵浦-探测技术)、以及时间分辨电子顺磁共振波谱(TREPR)等。利用三重态三重态湮灭上转换,使用连续激光器,实现了空间限域光激发、空间限域光聚合,模拟了双光子激发(双光子吸收)的部分特点和功能。新方法具有不依赖脉冲激光器和双光子染料等优点。
