Throughout his master studies, Johannes worked on real-world implementations of machine learning (e.g., image classification, speech recognition, named entity recognition) during internships at Porsche Motorsport, d-fine and EnBW AG. Johannes worked as an Affiliated Research Member at the Chair of Management Information Systems at ETH Zurich, where he researched emotion dynamics on social media.
