Career Trajectory
Bio
John Murray-Bruce (S'14-M'17) received the M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering (EEE) from the Imperial College London, UK, in 2012 and 2016, respectively. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL, USA. From 2017 to 2019, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Boston University, Boston, MA, USA. From 2012 to 2017, he was a Research Assistant with the Communications and Signal Processing Group, Imperial College London. His primary research interests are in computational imaging and inverse problems, as well as signal interpolation, approximation, and sampling theory. He is a member of the Computational Imaging Technical Committee of the IEEE Signal Processing Society. In 2012, he was the recipient of the Institute of Engineering and Technology Prize for the “best all round performance” in the M.Eng. EEE degree.
