个人简介
Science using novel deposition methods has been my passion for years. I have worked on the deposition, characterization and uses of thin films grown by novel ALD methods. My undergraduate work focused on characterizing the response of ALD grown nanowires to explosive materials, my Ph.D. focused on epitaxial deposition of films on perfect single crystals, and my postdoc is working on correcting atomic scale defects to move beyond the need for crystallographic perfection in substrates.
I have designed, built, and maintain a custom tools for high vacuum experiments and ALD for 7 years. I've used XPS, LEED, in situ ellipsometry, and RGA to characterize deposition processes such as ALD, CVD, and MBE.
