His research interests focus on cancer biology, specifically in the field of cancer metabolism and cancer immunology & therapy. To understand how cancer develops and progresses, he has investigated the metabolic alterations in cancer cells and tumor immune evasion as well as cross-talk between cancer cells and the tumor microenvironment. His findings greatly impact the field of cancer research and has been published by the highly impactful peer-reviewed journals, including Nature, Cancer Discovery, Nature Cell Biology, Molecular cell, Nature Communications, and the Journal of Experimental Medicine.
