Bio

Currently I am a PhD student in Agrarian Sciences and a PhD Fellow for FCT, developing my thesis in GreenUPorto and Centro de Biotecnologia e Quimica Fina. The main areas of my research concerns the utilization of edible insects in the food industry (consumer perception, fractionation techniques and sensory properties) and the influence of context in sensory evaluation techniques and consumer studies, with a particular focus on the use of virtual reality and immersive environments.
