个人简介
Jose Vazquez received the Ph.D. degree in informatics specializing in multirobot simultaneous location and mapping (SLAM) from the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, U.K., in 2006.
He was the head of engineering with SeeByte, Edinburgh, U.K., until 2021, and previously held posts as Head of Research, Technical Program Manager (Intelligent Perception), and Project Manager. He is currently with Leonardo S.p.A., Edinburgh, U.K. He has extensive experience developing automated target recognition systems for multiple underwater sensors using CNN (neural networks) and realistic simulation technology (GANs). He also has experience in navigation and control algorithms to estimate the positions of assets based on sensor inputs and carry out motions relative to the objects of interest.
