Dr. Julien Hogan is committed to improving care for children and young adults with end-stage renal disease, particularly by increasing access to kidney transplantation and improving outcomes after transplantation. He is principal investigator and co-investigator on several federally-funded studies, and led a collaborative team on an Emory WHSC Synergy Award in 2018 that examined transplant rejection diagnosis and classification using machine learning on whole-slide imaging in pediatric and adult kidney transplant recipients.
