Junichi Fujikata

Junichi Fujikata received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in materials engineering from The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 1991 and 1993, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in communications from Tohoku University, in 2016. From 1993 to 2021, he worked with NEC Corporation. Since 2021, he has been a Professor with the Graduate School of Sciences and Technology for Innovation, Tokushima University, Tokushima, Japan. His research interests include devices and materials in Si-based integrated circuits and their application to optical communication and sensing systems. He is a member of the Japan Society of Applied Physics and the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers.
