Junsong Yuan(袁浚菘)Professor

His research interests include computer vision, pattern recognition, video analytics, human action and gesture analysis, large-scale visual search and mining. He received Best Paper Award from IEEE Trans. on Multimedia, Nanyang Assistant Professorship from NTU, and Outstanding EECS Ph.D. Thesis award from Northwestern University. He served as Associate Editor of IEEE Trans. on Image Processing (T-IP), IEEE Trans. on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology (T-CSVT), Machine Vision and Applications (MVA), and Senior Area Editor of Journal of Visual Communications and Image Representation (JVCI). He was Program Co-Chair of IEEE Conf. on Multimedia Expo (ICME'18), and served as Area Chair for CVPR, ICCV, and ACM MM. He was elected senator at both NTU and UB. He is a Fellow of IEEE and IAPR.
