Assoc. Prof. RNDr. Karolína Šišková, Ph.D. graduated in Physical Chemistry at Dept. of Physical and Macromolecular Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague (Czech Republic) and simultaneously in Interface of Physics, Chemistry and Computing Science with Biology at University Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris (France). In the framework of her Fulbright grant, she spent a 10-months research stay in University of California at Santa Barbara in USA. In 2009, she started to work at Palacký University as assistant professor. Her research interests include nanostructures, plasmonic and iron oxide particles, vibrational spectroscopy (IR, Raman, SERS, SERRS).
